Labor And Delivery Registered NurseSeeking a full time (permanent) Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join a fantastic health care team in the Houston, TX area!Overview: Collaborates with the physician and healthcare team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process; provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records.Candidate Qualifications:At least 3-5 years of L&D ExperienceCompleted BSNMust have an active RN Texas License, or active multi-state compact RN license, clear of stipulations or disciplinary actions.Must have at least 3-5 years experience in an acute care setting that is Labor and Delivery (No ADN, new grads, will be considered this is not negotiable for fee and platform)Full Time Night Shift Availability Required – Candidates must be available to work full time night shifts exclusively.Extended women services RN experience is a plusMust be able to communicate efficientlyPosition Details:Full Time - Night shiftLevel 4 Maternal Designated Facility12 labor beds, 19 antepartum beds, 4 swing bedsApproximately 400-450 deliveries a monthBe apart of a community that allows you to grow your career in a supportive environment while also introducing new challenges and rewards.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional NursingLicenses/Certifications:Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursingCertified in Basic Life SupportAdditional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirementsCompetitive compensation package + full benefits offered.
