ICU Nurse (Trauma, Surgical, Neurological)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Nurse with expertise in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 2 years of ICU staff experience and have worked in a Trauma Level One facility. This role requires travel experience and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient treatment and care strategies.
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures as required.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Schedule

This position operates on a 7A - 7:30P shift, with an expectation of 48 hours per week available.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU staff experience.
• Experience working in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU settings.
• Must have Trauma Level One experience.
• Epic experience is required.
• Navy blue scrubs are mandatory.
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.
