About the Position

Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech Profession: Scrub Tech Specialty: OR Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in orthopedic and neuro services, specifically with Davinci Xi Robotic Spinal Fusion and Total Joint Arthroplasty. License: Required Certifications: NBSTSA, BLS Must-Have: Experience in total joints, neuro, and Xi Robots. Description: Travel opportunity for a Certified Surgical Tech. Candidates must possess NBSTSA certification. The start date is expected within three weeks of receiving the offer. This assignment lasts for 13 weeks. The shift for this position is from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM. On-call duties are required and will vary. Typically, this involves approximately 5 to 6 shifts per 4 weeks. The unit performs various procedures including total joint replacements and multi-level spine fusions. Experience with Xi Robotic cases (GYN, colorectal, general) is also needed. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered. A positive outlook and willingness to collaborate with team members are essential qualities. Call expectations include an average of 5 to 6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift based on employee availability. Candidates will work in a team setting that includes registered nurses and surgical support staff. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1 to ensure quality care. This position requires individuals who can advocate for patients effectively. Preferred candidates should demonstrate strong team collaboration skills. Scrubs are provided by the facility. Weekends and on-call duties are mandatory as outlined. This opening is for a vacant position.
