Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

$1713.60/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care to high-risk antepartum and obstetric patients in a high-volume, high-acuity Labor and Delivery unit. Deliver comprehensive maternal care, ensuring safety and comfort throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum. Responsibilities: Monitor and assess high-risk antepartum patients, including those receiving magnesium drips. Perform and manage labor and vaginal deliveries, including C-sections. Administer medications and interventions following protocols, including magnesium sulfate and other obstetric medications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Document all patient interactions, procedures, and medications accurately using Connect and Expanse systems. Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies, ensuring the safety of mother and baby. Qualifications: Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience. High-risk antepartum and labor/delivery experience, including C-section procedures. Certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN required. Demonstrated ability to manage magnesium drips and perform gynecological procedures. Ability to circulate during C-sections and respond swiftly in emergency situations.
