Storage Engineer

Systems Engineer - Storage and BackupSupport IT solutions delivery and maintenance, providing technology solutions to meet business/IT needs.· Troubleshoot storage technologies (NetApp, Dell/EMC, Azure NetApp Files, etc.).· Configure and maintain Dell EMC Data Domain, Veritas NetBackup, and possibly Cohesity.· Monitor Wintel, Linux, and VMware platform health.· Maintain storage inventory and support IT changes.· Plan and implement patching activities.· Provide 24x7 support and participate in on-call rotation.· Automate processes and document changes.· Engage with business and IT partners to sustain service levels.· Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field + 5-7 years relevant experience, or 6-9 years relevant work experience.· 3-5 years of storage team experience in an enterprise environment.· Proficiency in storage operations.· Ability to lift up to 25lbs and travel domestically.· 24/7 on-call rotational duties.· Experience with on-prem and cloud storage (Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud).· Knowledge of Windows Server, HPE ProLiant, Oracle Enterprise Linux, Solaris, Exadata.· Scripting skills (Python, Shell).· Relevant certifications (Azure, Oracle, VMware, EMC, NetApp).· Strong communication skills and decision-making abilities.
