Warehouse PersonFull time Americas - North America - United States - Henderson - RPSNA Henderson NVJob DescriptionEssential Jobs and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Report to front line leadershipWork as a team member to obtain plant & departmental goalsPerform daily inspections on forkliftPerform Trailer inspections prior to loading & unloadingWrap pallets with shrink wrap machine and scan pallets when requiredLoad / unload incoming / outgoing freight as assignedSafely transport, store and/or retrieve all product / raw materials / other to and from racks and designated locations using scanner for traceability.Practice First In & First Out product movementUtilize all bar-coding equipment as instructed to identify and transfer product.Become cross-trained in the processing of UPS orders as needed and physically off-loading packages up to 35lbs.Prepare Sundry orders for shippingPick orders for shipmentPerform housekeeping duties as needed or assignedMaintain lot control traceabilityControl of non-conforming productUphold Safety AbsolutesWork and perform to ISO Standards, SOPs and established Work Instructions.Uphold Quality Standards and follow the Absolutes.Other tasks as assignedQualificationsCapable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.Capable of working in a NON-climate-controlled warehouse where temps can exceed 102 degrees in summer & freezing temps in winter.Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.Capable of operating a forklift and a walkie rider in a safe and cautious manner to the satisfaction of the supervisor; six months of forklift driving experience required.Capable of lifting up to 35lbs periodically.Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Bump Cap or Hard Hat, Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear, Safety Shoes, Hearing Protection and Disposable Mask.Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines and working required overtime.High School Graduate or equivalentNegative drug screen results.Work in a safe mannerPrevious experience in material handling or shipping/receiving preferred.Contribution to Safety, Quality and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Maintain a clean, healthy and safe workplace by ensuring adherence to safety standards.Conduct required safety reviews of equipment and processes prior to project start-up.Support the accomplishment of your work groups through the quality, timeliness and professionalism of your attitude.Supply accurate and timely data as required by performance tracking and reporting.Apply resources in a manner that maximizes their effectiveness while assuring quality.Maintain a work environment that will contribute to the assurance of safety and GMP compliance.Adhere to established procedures, perform self-checking and pay attention to detail in the performance of you and your team's work.Notify management in a timely manner of any problems with procedural compliance.Report observed quality problems and deficiencies in a timely manner.Make recommendations to management for improving the quality and efficiency of your work.Oversee work to ensure projects are completed.Our ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
