Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during operative procedures and coordinate flow of equipment, supplies, and staff.
- Monitor and support patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care.
- Participate in patient care planning, assessment, and nursing treatment specific to the perioperative period.
- Manage intraoperative needs, including instrument handling, sponge counts, and maintaining a sterile field.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure a smooth, efficient workflow and accurate documentation of perioperative nursing care.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- OR/perioperative nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts and participate in a travel assignment
- Commitment to patient safety and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced surgical setting
