The Opportunity 

As a Senior Electrical Engineer with GTI (Geneva Technologies), you will work independently to research, design, develop, deploy, and support RF, hardware, embedded software, and FPGA-based products for both ground and space-based platforms. You will be an integral member of our small aerospace engineering product team. This versatile, hands-on role requires intellectual curiosity and a passion for tackling complex, ill-defined problems using sound engineering principles. Engineers who can communicate and serve as effective team contributors and with a desire to work, learn, and teach in a smaller corporate environment are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities 

• Circuit board design, assembly, integration, and test, including RF / microwave circuits
• Embedded Firmware development, ARM based, RTOS & Linux, C, C++
• FPGA development, simulation, synthesis, test, implementation and debugging
• Box level testing, verification and validation for ground and flight products
• Ground testing, verification, and validation of flight products
• Analysis of data products from on-orbit and ground-based tests

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer engineering, or equivalent combination of education and relevant engineering experience 
• Five years or more of relevant experience
• US Citizenship required 

Desired Qualifications 

• Proficiency in programming languages including C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, Verilog, and VHDL
• Experience with electronic design automation (EDA) and development tools such as Altium Designer, Vivado, and Libero
• Hands-on experience with circuit board development, system integration, and hardware/software testing
• Familiarity with configuration management and version control tools, including SVN, Git, and Perforce
• Strong data analysis and scripting capabilities, with experience in MATLAB and/or Python programming

Additional Information 

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 + comprehensive benefits. Depending on the level of experience and qualifications of the candidate, the compensation package for this position may be adjusted. 
• The position is fully on site in Colorado Springs,  and may require occasional travel, less than 5%
