Overview Blount Re-Entry Master's Level Program Coordinator Summary of Role Member of a multidisciplinary team providing administrative and programmatic oversight to clients within an adult residential substance use treatment facility. Initiate and maintain professional and clinical relationships and interact appropriately with a team of health practitioners. Summary of Position Responsible for day‑to‑day operations of residential services, ensuring client care that promotes quality clinical outcomes and supports recovery. Oversees administrative and programmatic functions of the program. Ensures contract reporting and compliance per McNabb Center’s policy and procedure requirements. Provides direct supervision of team leader, care coordinator, and residential counselors. Maintains coverage for program vacancies and performs front‑line duties as needed, including participation in an on‑call rotation for emergencies. Typical Working Conditions / Environment Position is located in a residential treatment center for adults with substance use disorders. Program operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Job Duties / Responsibilities 1. Program Responsibility Work in a multidisciplinary team to meet clinical needs of individuals in the program. Complete all required documentation in accordance with Center policy and funding source guidelines. Assist in monitoring treatment effectiveness and quality outcomes (satisfaction surveys, follow‑ups upon discharge). Oversee daily program operation for clients and direct‑care staff, assigning and managing daily schedules and coverage, including after‑hours, weekends, and holidays. Ensure completion and documentation of monthly inspections, monthly fire drills, and quarterly EAP procedures. Oversee monthly schedules for team leaders and residential counselors to maintain required staff‑to‑client ratios. Participate in a weekly on‑call rotation for administrative and programmatic emergencies. Ensure P‑Card reconciliation of receipts is completed within company deadlines. Respond to emails, voicemails, texts, and crisis calls within appropriate time frames. Meet weekly with Assistant Director for clinical and administrative supervision. Promote harmonious relationships and attitudes through open communication of concerns, maintaining a positive attitude and helping others. Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor. Communicate directly, assertively, and approach conflict with problem‑solving techniques. Organize and develop team cohesion. 2. Supervision / Management Provide direct supervision of program staff to ensure appropriate programmatic and clinical services for clients. Schedule and conduct monthly all‑staff meetings, including trainings/education for staff. Provide guidance and training to all staff on clinical issues as needed. Attend weekly management/leadership team meetings punctually. Participate in or delegate participation in daily treatment teams to address programmatic concerns and coordinate information. Ensure documentation is completed accurately by staff in the electronic medical record and TNWITS system. Fill vacancies promptly with qualified candidates, maintaining continuous 24/7 service delivery. Supervise staff regularly (group or individual) and document meetings per supervision guidelines. Identify and address staff issues promptly using progressive disciplinary procedures. Complete annual staff evaluations, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and development goals. Foster professional growth by identifying leadership potential and training opportunities. Facilitate peer review of client records to ensure documentation compliance. Ensure at least two internal activities/groups per day and one external activity/group per week. Ensure each client is seen by the RN and vitals obtained twice a week. Ensure each client is seen by the prescriber at least twice a month. Ensure Care Coordinator provides weekly face‑to‑face contact per month for all clients. Conduct treatment team meetings weekly. Complete and submit monthly productivity reports to supervision before the 12th of the following month. 3. Community Outreach Represent the Center in the community professionally, fostering good working relationships. Participate in community outreach activities to promote program visibility as needed or upon invitation. 4. Professional Development Develop a professional development plan with supervisor during yearly evaluations. Explore continuing education opportunities to expand clinical skills and request approval to attend trainings. Complete all Relias training modules and maintain current staff training status. Compensation Starting salary is approximately $64,213 per year based on relevant experience and education. Schedule Normally Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with varying start and end times as needed. Position requires working holidays, on-call rotations, and may involve weekend and after‑hours work. Travel Position does not require daily transportation of clients, but may involve emergency transports. Candidate must maintain a dependable vehicle, certified driver status, and F endorsement. Personal vehicle or company van may be used for transportation; mileage will be reimbursed. Equipment / Technical Competency Requires basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Qualifications – Blount Re‑Entry Master’s Level Program Coordinator Experience / Knowledge: Minimum of two years supervisory experience in social work, addictions, behavioral health, or criminal justice settings. Knowledge of substance use and mental health recovery, including co‑occurring disorders and work with individuals with SPMI. Demonstrated compassion and ability to apply screening, assessment, intake, and counseling skills with diverse populations, including criminal justice and court‑ordered cases. Extensive experience with co‑occurring disorders, individual/group/family therapy preferred. Familiarity with motivational interviewing and stages of change essential. Education / License: Master’s degree in Human Services or related field required. Coursework or experience in cultural diversity, human development, substance abuse treatment, and related areas. Professional license preferred; knowledge of residential treatment environment required. Physical / Emotional / Social Skills / Abilities Normal residential treatment setting. Close eye work for writing and computer tasks. Lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 150 lbs.; frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching; participation in client activities. Certification in verbal and physical de‑escalation techniques including a variety of bodily movements. Effective communication, time management, and organizational skills.
