Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Medford, Oregon location to collect blood specimens, perform data entry, and process patient information. The role operates Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday rotations and overtime, involving patient interaction and laboratory specimen preparation.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and similar diagnostics
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
• Maintain accurate patient and specimen information logs with timely data entry
• Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program preferred
• Minimum three months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams with minimal supervision
• Flexibility for overtime and multi-site assignments
