We are looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Hamburg, NY area. Assistant Manager Responsibilities As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Key duties include enforcing established policies, procedures and standards; scheduling mechanics and technicians’ work; managing outside orders; ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs; meeting customer expectations; and safeguarding the safety of team members. Service Manager Responsibilities The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. The role involves directing the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians; staging vehicle repair and maintenance work; driving sales initiatives; communicating directly with customers; assessing customer needs; providing information on requested and necessary repairs; ensuring customer satisfaction; and striving to meet customer expectations. Qualifications To be eligible for these positions, candidates must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess at least one year of experience or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales; or one year of experience or training in automotive repairs/maintenance; or a combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role.
