Industrial Maintenance Mechanic — Mount Pleasant
Picture your first week: you’re walking the production floor of a busy manufacturing operation in Mount Pleasant, listening for the subtle sounds that reveal when a conveyor needs alignment or a motor needs love. You keep equipment humming, minimize downtime, and help your teammates stay safe and productive. Express is hiring an experienced professional to make that day-to-day reliability a reality.
Schedule Options
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm
3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00pm–7:30am
What You’ll Do
Complete routine service on production machinery and facility systems to keep operations steady.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues along with basic electrical faults (wiring, motors, control panels, troubleshooting).
Swap out worn components and execute preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
Assist with installing and commissioning new machines and upgrades.
Document work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Partner with production to reduce stoppages and optimize uptime.
Follow all safety rules, lockout/tagout practices, and plant procedures.
Handle additional related tasks as needed.
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED.
Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
Consistent reliability and follow-through.
Hands-on experience with industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
Foundational electrical knowledge: wiring, motors, control panels, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Physical capability to bend, twist, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
