Assistant Program Manager of Adult Day Support Program

Position Overview This role functions as an assistant to the Program Manager, acting in their absence and supporting program operations for individuals with developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities Assist in development and implementation of services, supports, and programming for persons served. Maintain daily operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory guidelines (Medicaid, licensing, CARF, etc.). Prepare and review documentation, including evaluation/assessment reports, ISPs, progress reviews, daily notes, incident reports, and other data records. Support staff and participants in group and individual activities: community integration, personal care, mobility, behavior intervention, medication, training, communication, and scheduling. Communicate with management, staff, family members, guardians, support coordinators, and other stakeholders regarding participant progress and events. Provide training and support to staff for accurate documentation and compliance. Perform quality assurance of data, quarterly reports, and other administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree or related coursework preferred). At least 3 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (supervisory experience preferred). Pass state fingerprinting and criminal background check; pass ODD assessment and competencies. Valid driver’s license if required to drive; must complete online driving training within 15 days of hire. Physical ability to support participants with personal care, including feeding, toileting, and transferring. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with corporate software such as Teams or Zoom. Strong verbal and written communication skills; detail‑oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of behavior intervention principles and community resources. Physical Demands The role requires standing, reaching, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds. Vision, hearing, and motor skills are essential.
