Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Technician in Madison, WI (53711). As a key contributor, you will build and assemble complex scientific instruments to support production goals. This contract position offers a stable Monday to Friday, 8am 5pm schedule, providing a collaborative environment where problem-solving and continuous improvement are valued. [Responsibilities]- Assemble, test, and calibrate mechanical, electrical, and optical components to meet strict quality standards.
- Install completed assemblies into final instrument builds efficiently and accurately.
- Follow detailed work instructions for assembly, material handling, and inventory verification.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and contribute to a positive, team-focused culture.
- Identify and support opportunities for process improvement within your work cell. [Required Skills and Experience]- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 25 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly. [Preferred Skills]- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
