Tax Support Specialist

Providing essential support to customers, the full-time remote Tier 1 Tax Support Specialist will assist U.S. taxpayers with inquiries, prioritize escalations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to tax filing and documentation. Key responsibilities Respond, prioritize, and resolve tax-related customer inquiries Assist customers in navigating their tax filing situations with empathy and understanding of federal and state tax forms Monitor tax workflow to proactively identify and address potential issues Required qualifications 1-2 years of experience in customer support, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment Excellent written communication skills for explaining complex concepts clearly and empathetically Experience using customer support platforms such as Intercom, Zendesk, or Salesforce High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred Ability to learn new systems and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
