Job Summary
Seeking a Certified Flagger & Boom Lift Operator for a temporary assignment in Nederland, TX. Responsibilities include operating a JLG Boom Lift, directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, monitoring ground activity, and maintaining a safe work environment. Candidates must have a valid Flagger Certification and experience operating boom lifts.
Job Description
- Operate a JLG Boom Lift safely and efficiently to support project activities
- Direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic in accordance with site safety requirements
- Monitor ground traffic and communicate with site personnel to ensure safe movement of equipment and workers
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with other site-related duties as assigned.
Skills Required
- Experience operating a JLG Boom Lift or similar aerial lift equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety and communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Experience in construction or traffic control is a plus.
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid Flagger Certification
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check
- Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Pay Rate/Salary
- $24.00/hr . Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location
