Food Service Manager

We are seeking to find a Food Service Manager! As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction in our food services department. About the Role As a Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our food services department, including menu preparation, compliance with local and state health mandates, and ensuring kitchen cleanliness and safety. You will also lead and mentor a team of food service staff, maintain accurate records, and plan and purchase food and drink commodities. Additionally, you will coordinate the use of food service facilities and equipment for facility events and manage weekly payroll reporting. Responsibilities Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents Ensure compliance with local and state DPH mandates and maintain accurate records Lead and mentor a team of food service staff to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high-quality food preparation Plan, purchase, and maintain all food and drink commodities, ensuring budgetary strategies are adhered to Coordinate the use of food service facilities and equipment for facility events Manage weekly payroll reporting and other administrative duties as needed Ensure all dietary staff maintain Safe Food Handling certification and are held to a standard of excellence, customer satisfaction, and skills in the preparation and delivery of all food-related items Requirements 0 years of experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Cooking and food service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting Strong leadership and management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods Why Join Us Join our team at Pendleton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and be part of a dynamic and compassionate team dedicated to providing exceptional care and service to our residents.
