Job Title: Foreman Industrial Electrician Job Description

This Foreman Industrial Electrician role oversees electrical construction projects from pre-construction planning through to final completion across multiple industrial and agricultural sites. You lead field activities, coordinate with electricians and apprentices, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality and safety standards. Typical work includes installing and bending various types of conduit, running wire, and working on industrial 3-phase motor systems and motor control centers in locations such as Fresno, Hanford, Coalinga, Tulare, Firebaugh, and Merced.

• Oversee electrical construction projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
• Lead and coordinate teams of journeyman electricians and apprentices on large-scale industrial and agricultural projects.
• Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to achieve timely completion of project milestones.
• Manage project quality and cost in the field by ensuring proper installation methods, minimizing rework, and using materials efficiently.
• Install, bend, and run EMT, rigid, PVC, Ocal, stainless steel, and aluminum conduit according to industrial standards and project drawings.
• Use Chicago benders, hand benders, triple nickel, Fresno benders, and other bending tools to fabricate precise conduit runs.
• Pull and terminate electrical wiring for industrial systems, ensuring proper routing, labeling, and connections.
• Work on industrial 3-phase motors, including installation, wiring, and basic troubleshooting.
• Install and work within motor control centers (MCC) and motor control rooms, following appropriate circuitry and control schemes.
• Apply knowledge of basic circuitry to read, interpret, and work from electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and other trades on site to coordinate work and resolve field issues.
• Maintain a consistent presence on site by arriving on time and being ready to work at the start of each shift.
• Adapt to changing project needs by being flexible and willing to support 2–3 different jobs per week as required.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment and model a professional attitude for apprentices and crew members.
• Support adherence to safety policies and procedures and encourage safe work practices among all team members.

• Experience working as an ET, Apprentice Electrician, or Journeyman on industrial or agricultural electrical projects.
• Proficiency in bending EMT, rigid, PVC, Ocal, stainless steel, and aluminum conduit.
• Ability to use conduit bending equipment, including Chicago benders, hand benders, triple nickel, and Fresno benders.
• Strong understanding of basic electrical circuitry and its application in industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience working on industrial 3-phase motors.
• Experience working on MCCs and motor control rooms.
• Reliable work habits with the ability to arrive on time and maintain consistent attendance.
• Positive, professional attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
• Flexibility to work on multiple projects and locations, including the ability to support 2–3 different jobs per week.
• Comfort working on large-scale projects and leading or coordinating with journeyman electricians and apprentices.

• Background in industrial, agricultural, or commercial electrical construction.
• Experience running conduit and wire on large-scale projects in locations such as Fresno, Hanford, Coalinga, Tulare, Firebaugh, and Merced.
• Ability to read and interpret basic electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills for field conditions and installation challenges.
• Willingness to travel between project sites and remain open to relocation to new facilities as projects change.
• Comfort working under changing priorities and adapting to evolving project lists and schedules.

The role is based on large-scale industrial and agricultural electrical projects, leading and working alongside journeyman electricians and apprentices in active facility and construction environments. Work is performed at various sites, including a facility in Firebaugh and additional locations in Fresno, Coalinga, Merced, Hanford, Tulare, and surrounding areas. Projects typically run for several weeks, and you remain open to moving to new sites as work progresses, including scheduled projects such as those at Harris Ranch in Coalinga. The environment involves extensive field work, use of conduit bending tools and standard electrical equipment, and adherence to site safety practices. Work hours follow typical construction schedules, with expectations for punctuality and readiness at the start of each shift. Attire is standard for industrial construction, with appropriate workwear and personal protective equipment required to meet safety and site standards.

This is a Permanent position based out of Clovis, CA.

The pay range for this position is $93600.00 - $93600.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
