As a Security Officer Front Desk in Golden, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge activities, monitor alarm panels, and support a professional, secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and use technology to document security-related activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Manage the front desk and reception area by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, cameras, and other security-related communications, promptly reporting unusual activity, incidents, or concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, access records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
