Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with specialized experience in cath procedures. The ideal candidate will support a dynamic team within a busy acute care setting, ensuring high-quality cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with catheterization procedures in the cath lab, adhering to established protocols.
• Maintain equipment and ensure state-of-the-art functioning of all cath lab instruments.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to provide safe, efficient patient care.
• Follow all safety and infection control guidelines, including proper scrubbing and prepping of patients.
• Complete all required documentation accurately within the electronic health record system.
• Float within scope to support other facilities and departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 18 months of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar setting.
• Certified or registered as a Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT, RCIS, or relevant).
• Hold current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC charting and prior experience with time-sensitive modules.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
• Must be Nicotine free, with a negative 10-panel drug screen.
