Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Vascular Lab Position Overview This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Vascular Lab, focusing on direct patient care in an advanced clinical setting. The nurse will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide quality care to patients undergoing various cardiac and vascular procedures. Unit Information Number of Beds: 13 Staffing: Team of 30, including RNs and CVTs Patient Ratios: 1:3 Type of Equipment: Phillips and GE Documentation System: Meditech, Mac Lab Schedule Shifts are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, or until all cases are completed. Evening and weekend on-call responsibilities will be required. Qualifications Required Certifications: ACLS BLS Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar setting is preferred. Cardiac catheterization lab experience is highly desirable. Skills: Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to function independently in a fast-paced environment. Procedures Performed Typical procedures include Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), peripheral interventions, structural heart procedures, and electrophysiology studies. Dress Code Scrub colors will be provided by the institution.
