The Leadership School is the first public charter school in St. Louis County, paving the way for educational choice and opportunity for all families in the St. Louis area. The Leadership Schools’ teachers spend approximately 60% of their time student-facing providing high-quality learning experiences and instruction. Our teachers also have ample dedicated time to plan and internalize their lessons, collaborate with colleagues, receive coaching and development, provide students feedback on their work, and communicate with families about their child’s performance. Approximately 40% of each instructional staff’s time is spent planning, training, collaborating, or communicating with students and their families.
