Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) – Day Shift

• Schedule: Day Shift | 4x9-Hour Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week (Post-Orientation)
  • Schedule Structure: 4 days per week (9-hour shifts).
  • On-Call / Standby: On-call required (7–9 shifts per 6-week schedule block). Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call coverage required. Call response time is strictly 30 minutes .
  • Floating Protocol & Unit Details: Interventional Radiology (6 procedure labs; pre-op & phase 2 recovery; 20–30 cases/day). Special Procedures Tech role covering vascular, neuro, drains, and central lines. Responsibilities include scrubbing, passing supplies, and procedure room set-up/breakdown. EMR: Epic. Equipment: Philips monitors. Hospital-provided scrubs.

• Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2 years of dedicated Interventional Radiology (IR / Special Procedures) Tech experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
• State Licensure / Registration [IN-HAND OR IN-PROCESS AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) / Radiologic Technologist License strictly required, or proof of active application submission [HARDSTOP].
• Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
  • Active ARRT (R) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification strictly required (ARRT-VI / CI preferred) [HARDSTOP].
  • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification strictly required [HARDSTOP].
