Maintains painting equipment in good repair; assures all supplies are cleaned and properly stored. Manages paint inventory to assure adequate supply for projects; assures paint is properly stored and/or disposed as needed. Assist in the care of the center's physical plant and grounds Perform repairs as directed Collect and dispose of refuse Clean, strip, wax, and buff floors Assure prompt snow and ice removal Help to assure the maintenance of the physical plant is in proper order Requirements of Maintenance Assistant (Painter) Requires knowledge of building maintenance to include minor electrical repair Pluming and routine preventative care of heating and air conditioning systems Must have valid Driver’s License Requires the ability to receive verbal and written direction Requires the ability to be available for “on-call” emergency repairs EEO Statement Our facility provides equal employment opportunities.
