PBM Underwriting - Senior Analyst

Overview Join CVS Health’s Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) Underwriting team as a high‑level contributor to formulate pricing strategy and execute financial modeling for comprehensive pricing offers, including retail network, mail order, specialty, and manufacturer rebates. Responsibilities Collaborate with PBM Sales and Account Services to provide recommendations on pricing and negotiation strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets for new business growth and margin retention. Apply advanced Excel modeling techniques to analyze large sets of pharmacy claims data and build forward‑looking financial forecasts and profit and loss (P&L) statements. Present financial analyses to Executive Leadership during Executive Underwriting Approval Calls and respond to financial questions in real‑time. Support Underwriting Managers and Senior Managers with ad‑hoc financial analyses and client implementation projects. Required Qualifications 3 or more years of financial analysis, pricing, or corporate underwriting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis. Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of PBM finance. Experience managing complex projects over 3‑12 months in a matrix environment. Ability to interact with others professionally and foster teamwork. Advanced Excel modelling. Strong organizational, multi‑tasking, and follow‑up skills. Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to various business groups. Education Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred. Pay The typical pay range for this role is $46,988.00 - $102,000.00.
