Sr. System Administrator

Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience as a System Administrator, Infrastructure Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role. Strong expertise supporting enterprise on-premises infrastructure, including Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, storage, virtualization, and networking technologies. Hands‑on experience administering VMware virtualization technologies. Experience designing, implementing, and supporting hybrid environments that integrate on-premises and cloud infrastructure. Hands‑on experience with one or more cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or equivalent cloud technologies. Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity management, security, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery concepts. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, Ansible, Pulumi, or similar technologies. Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages. Strong knowledge of network configuration and management, including firewall administration. Experience administering Active Directory, domain controllers, and Group Policy. Experience with SonicWall and Palo Alto firewalls. Knowledge of storage solutions including Isilon, Vblock, VxRail, Data Domain, and Avamar. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills. Experience managing third‑party vendors and service providers. Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure initiatives. Strong soft skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Proactive, self‑motivated attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator AWS Solutions Architect Associate Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate VMware VCP CompTIA Network+ CompTIA Security+ Experience with other system administration tools and technologies (e.g., Active Directory, DNS, DHCP). Knowledge of ITIL best practices and documentation standards. Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices in enterprise environments. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks. Experience supporting containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of ITIL best practices and documentation standards.
