Housekeeping Room Attendant

The hourly rate for this opportunity is $29.20 an hour. What You Will Accomplish Maintain warm, hospitable guest relations in all guest contact. Responding to individual guest needs as they occur. Clean andmaintainall assigned rooms and suites daily, including stripping linen, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, checking of room lights and equipment, air conditioner unit, television, spot cleaning, and stocking all room supplies. Report any items missing from rooms and suites. Report all items in need of repair to supervisor andmaintainequipment usedinwork. Protect guest safety and well-being; be courteous to all guests and co-workers. Thoroughlycompletesprojects and assignments professionally with care. Adjuststo high pressure conditions and is open to change. Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development. Conducts him/herself (acts and dresses) professionally at all times; sets standards for all. Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally. What You Will Bring Knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors. Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 20 pounds. Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Ability to be a team player. Great If You Have Musthave knowledge of all hotel departments and events. Must have good mathematical and computer skills. High school education and relevant training and experience required. Additionaleducationpreferred. Knowledge ofthe localarearequired. CPR and first aid trainingpreferred.
