Travel Physical Therapist - $2,169 per week

Job Overview Fusion Medical Staffing is hiring a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Dallas, Texas. Start date: July 13, 2026. Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration. Assess patient progress, adjust plans as necessary, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, and injury prevention strategies. Maintain a safe treatment environment, adhering to infection control protocols and regulatory standards. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to stay current with best practices. Assist in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continued patient progress. Perform other duties within scope of practice as assigned. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in Texas. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Doctorate in physical therapy (preferred). Experience in physical therapy; new graduates welcome. Additional certifications or licenses may be required (as necessary). Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and effective communication. Reading, writing, and speaking English. Proficiency in PC usage. Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel. Technical/motor skills for fine manipulation and movement assistance. Mental resilience to handle frequent public contact and deadlines under pressure. Visual acuity for effective communication.
