Position Overview
Century Impact Orthopedic Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist to join our team in Fairview, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities
- Direct and administer physical therapy treatment, focusing on preventing future disabilities, alleviating pain, improving muscle function, and enhancing overall physical capabilities, all in accordance with individualized care plans.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring they implement the designated treatment plans effectively and uphold high standards of care.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ function through diagnostic testing and assessments, and use this data to inform treatment protocols.
- Assess clients’ home environments to recommend modifications that promote independence and integrate therapeutic activities into daily routines.
- Provide in-home physical therapy services directly to clients, as prescribed by their healthcare providers.
- Administer various therapeutic techniques including manual exercises, traction, and massage, while instructing clients on their importance and application.
- Fit and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, advising physicians on potential modifications to support client rehabilitation.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and strategies to optimize patient care and collective outcomes.
- Educate clients and their families about physical therapy practices, device usage, and strategies to continue progress post-treatment.
- Complete administrative tasks including timely submission of clinical and payroll documentation, adhering to company protocols.
- Engage in continuous professional growth by participating in ongoing education and training programs.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The clients you will serve represent a diverse demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those with chronic pain conditions, and patients requiring rehabilitation following injuries or debilitating illnesses. Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required, with preference given to candidates holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, maintaining good standing with regulatory bodies.
- A current CPR certification is mandatory.
- One year of relevant experience, particularly in acute care or home care settings, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
