Doyles Sheehan is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in Eastern Montana (Billings and surrounding areas) and Northern Wyoming. As a premier wholesale distributor, we provide a collaborative environment where leadership, strategy, and growth are at the forefront of everything we do.
Compensation
Base Wage : $78,000 - $90,000 per year.
Total Compensation : $93,000$105,000 per year.
Bonus Eligibility : This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus based on individual and team performance.
The Role
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will report directly to the Executive Director of Sales . You will be responsible for directing the distribution of products and services while providing high-level leadership to achieve maximum profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement sales strategies to meet company goals and penetrate new markets.
Recruitment & Hiring : Recruit, test, and assist in the hiring process for Sales Representatives based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
Team Development : Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to enhance their performance and professional development.
Operations Management : Coordinate sales distribution, establish territories and quotas, and monitor customer preferences.
Accountability : Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback to executive leadership, and ensure adherence to company policies and ethics.
Travel : This role requires travel to customer locations within an assigned region, typically involving two to three nights on travel weeks.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience : 57 years of experience in sales management is required.
Leadership : Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams; experience leading a sales team is strongly preferred.
Education : A High school education or GED is required. A Bachelors degree in Business Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
Skills : Extensive experience in all aspects of relationship management and a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.
Background & Driving : Must be able to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and a motor vehicle background check. You must have a clean driving record and the ability to be insurable.
Physical Requirements : Ability to sit for prolonged periods, stand and/or walk for up to 12 hours in a retail environment, and lift 50 pounds to move stock or displays.
