Financial Reporting Senior Accountant

Responsibilities Prepare technical accounting analyses and memorandums in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Maintain and support the Company’s significant accounting policies. Research, document, and present technical accounting conclusions and related accounting positions. Partner with the Director of Corporate Accounting to ensure technical accounting conclusions and significant accounting policies are accurately reflected in financial reporting. Prepare financial statements and related footnote disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Monitor and evaluate new and proposed accounting standards issued by the SEC and FASB to assess potential impacts on the Company’s financial reporting. Key Competencies Technical Accounting & Financial Disclosure Accurate and Timely SEC Filings Internal Control Certifications Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting requirements, and audit processes Required Experience 7–9 years of experience in technical accounting and/or financial reporting Prior public accounting experience at a Big 4 or national accounting firm Active or inactive CPA license from any U.S. state Experience working with SEC registrants/public companies Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting Experience using Workiva preferred Total Starting Compensation including Base + Bonus: $110,000 Location: Onsite, Las Vegas, NV, USA Travel Requirement: None Skillz embraces diversity and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
