Growing together.** The **Associate Patient Care Coordinator (Primary Care/Internal Medicine)** is responsible to the Center Administrator and provides appointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, answers incoming calls and performs other related clerical functions. This primary role provides front office support functions. **Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:30am-5pm EST. Schedule to be determined by manager upon hire. **Location** : 307 W. Main St. Kent, OH. Training and coverage may be required at Tallmadge location (116 East Ave, Ste 3, Tallmadge, OH 44278), depending on business need. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Taking messages for providers, handling forms: FMLA/Disability/BMV + Collecting copays and patient balances that are due at time of check in + Requesting records and retrieving records from offices/hospitals + Prepping charts, scanning documents + Verifies patient insurance coverage and eligibility utilizing computer-based patient registration / scheduling system + Documents appropriate information in patient's charts using an electronic medical records system + Completes and maintains physician's schedules, coordinating patient visits and medical procedures + Ensure patient insurance information through EMR system **What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
