Physical Therapist - Assisted Living Facility

Manage a hospital-based inpatient and outpatient physical therapy clinic serving an assisted living facility and regional communities. Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and create treatment plans. Support interdisciplinary teams and medical staff. Coordinate an orthopedic specialty field clinic, including referral screening and prioritization. Promote compliance with corporate, state, and federal regulations. Participate in departmental financial management and administrative process development. Travel to village locations as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, active Physical Therapist license in Alaska in good standing.
• Minimum four (4) years of active, full-time patient care experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous managerial experience preferred.
• Ability to work in hospital-based physical therapy environments using hi-lo tables, therapeutic exercise equipment, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation modalities.
• Ability to perform village-based care; may be required to bring portable therapy supplies and to travel by small, non-pressurized aircraft.
• Demonstrated communication skills for working with diverse cultural populations and for producing professional documentation and correspondence.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Benefits:

• Relocation assistance: $15,000 for individual, $20,000 for family.
• Sign-on bonus: $25,000 for a three-year agreement.
• Retention bonus eligible.
