• Must be proficient in Epic EMR
• The individual must demonstrate the knowledge of proper handling, administration, and disposal of hazardous drugs, and proper usage of PPE.
• 3+ years of experience

• Independently administer a variety of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and injections (chemo, hormonal, and non-chemo/hormonal) in accordance with the provider’s order.
• Access port-a-caths, PICC’s, and Hickman catheters.
• Perform venipuncture, PICC and Hickman dressings, labs via ports, PICC’s and Hickman catheters.
• Provide appropriate clinical care of all patients assigned, maintain accurate, concise and complete records on the patient’s condition, treatment, medications, and responses to treatment.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of all intravenous therapies and the patient’s responses to treatment.
• Notify the Medical Oncologist or Nurse Practitioner of unusual occurrences and initiate appropriate emergency action when necessary.
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding medications and treatments, expected responses and side effects, disease process, nutrition, activity and physical adjustments related to the disease process or treatment.
• Responsible for verifying informed consent prior to administering chemotherapy.
• Maintain a safe environment, comply with policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
