Pediatric Physiatrist Needed Good Samaritan University Hospital, Port Jefferson & Babylon, NY Salary Range $259,254 - $315,218 Responsibilities Evaluating and managing infants, children and adolescents with a variety of rehabilitative needs. Supervising, overseeing and teaching medical students, interns, and residents rotating through the department and division. Maintaining high standards and quality of care to the patients cared for. Promoting high quality, cost effective care based on the best medical evidence. Participating in data collection to assess patient care and satisfaction studies. Keeping current with developments in pediatrics, medical management and related areas through CME programs, medical literature review and medical staff conferences. Board-Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine. NYS License required. Salary is a good faith estimate; actual pay will depend on education, training, skills, licensure and certification, competencies, and other experience. This range does not include bonuses, incentive pay, or other compensation, nor does it include the value of benefits.
