Facilities Worker

Position OverviewThis role supports daily facility operations by keeping production areas clean, organized, and safe. You'll handle machine cleaning, light painting, pallet removal, and general janitorial tasks that keep the plant running smoothly. Ideal for someone reliable, hands-on, and comfortable working independently on a fast-paced 2nd-shift schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesMachine cleaning — Wipe down, degrease, and maintain cleanliness around production equipment.Painting tasks — Touch-up painting on walls, guardrails, and equipment as needed.Pallet removal — Haul off pallets and maintain clear walkways and storage areas.Basic janitorial — Sweep, mop, empty trash, and maintain general facility cleanliness.Safety compliance — Follow all plant safety rules and maintain a hazard-free environment.What We're Looking ForHands-on worker with strong reliability and work ethicAbility to lift, move, and haul materials throughout the shiftComfort working around industrial equipmentWillingness to perform repetitive cleaning and upkeep tasksPositive attitude and teamwork mindsetSchedule2nd Shift: 2:15 PM–10:45 PMConsistent weekly schedule with opportunities for long-term growth.Location: Chattanooga, TNThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
