Mortgage Loan Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to support Loan Officers with pipeline management, loan processing coordination, and client communication. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of mortgage lending programs, excellent organizational skills, and an interest in supporting both loan operations and sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Loan Officers with managing and monitoring the mortgage loan pipeline from application through closing.
• Request, collect, and review loan documentation to ensure files are complete and meet program requirements.
• Maintain a strong understanding of various mortgage loan programs, including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, and Non-QM.
• Communicate with clients throughout the mortgage process, providing updates and following up on outstanding documentation.
• Follow up on leads, assist with client outreach, and support Loan Officers with sales and business development efforts.
• Track loan progress, monitor outstanding conditions, and help ensure timely closings.
• Maintain accurate loan files and update information within the loan origination system (LOS).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mortgage lending, loan processing, or as a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant.
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan programs, guidelines, and documentation requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple loans and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with loan origination systems.
