Gallini Auto Services – Peebles, Ohio
Gallini Auto Services is looking for a dependable, motivated Automotive Technician to join our growing team.
We are a locally owned independent repair shop focused on honest repairs, accurate diagnostics, quality workmanship, and taking care of our customers. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can stay productive throughout the day, and wants to become a reliable part of our team.
Starting at $17/hour
Pay may vary based on experience, knowledge, and ability.
90 Day Probation/ Trial Period
Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays as needed
Job Duties
This position will handle a variety of general automotive repair and maintenance duties, including:
- Oil changes and routine maintenance
- Brake repairs
- Steering and suspension repairs
- Tire service and rotations
- Fluid services
- Vehicle inspections
- Removing and replacing automotive components
- Assisting with larger repair jobs when needed
- Moving vehicles in and out of the shop
- Test-driving customer vehicles for diagnostic and repair-verification purposes
- Properly documenting work performed
- Keeping your bay, tools, and work areas clean and organized
- Following shop safety procedures
- Helping the team keep vehicles moving efficiently through the shop
Requirements
- Valid driver's license REQUIRED — some duties involve driving and test-driving customer vehicles
- Automotive repair experience 1-2 years
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Strong attention to detail
- Utilizing shop software
- Takes pride in completing repairs correctly and safely
- Comfortable working with automotive tools and shop equipment
- Own basic automotive hand tools preferred
- Applicants still building their tool collection will be considered, but must be willing and able to purchase additional tools over time as needed
- Professionalism and the confidence and ability to take direction and learn
