We pride ourselves on creating memorable experiences with outstanding food and service. We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Cook to join our catering team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to help support our catering team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about creating high-quality, delicious dishes, and have a strong understanding of food safety and preparation. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to excellence, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items for catered events, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to Ceresville Mansion’s recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen and catering equipment before and after events.
• Collaborate with the catering team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food items.
• Monitor food inventory and communicate with the kitchen manager to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Ensure proper storage of all food items and kitchen supplies.
• Adapt to changing needs and priorities, including special dietary requests and last-minute changes to event details.
• Support the team with additional tasks as needed to ensure the success of each event.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cook or similar role in a catering or restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary degree or relevant certification.
• Experience in catering or event-based cooking.
• Knowledge of various dietary restrictions and food allergies.
