About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Strategic Programs and Industry Engagement to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy that will drive the growth and revenue diversification of its portfolio. This role is pivotal in strengthening the company's position as a trusted industry authority and convener, with a focus on engaging diverse stakeholders in the most critical challenges of the sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and expanding a range of executive convenings, conferences, and learning products, and will be expected to bring a market-driven approach to identify and meet the emerging needs of the industry. Collaboration with various internal teams is essential to ensure that the strategic vision is aligned with the company's goals and that the portfolio delivers tangible value to the energy ecosystem. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in leading and growing a portfolio of events, programs, and education, with a proven track record of developing and commercializing new offerings. Strong financial acumen, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to build and nurture relationships across the energy industry are crucial. The role requires a leader who can mentor and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. While not mandatory, knowledge of the energy industry, including utilities, distributed energy resources, and clean energy markets, is a plus. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating strategic goals into high-impact programs and will be instrumental in driving the company's global strategy and visibility.
