If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.The Product Sourcing Manager is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and onboarding domestic and global suppliers that deliver high-quality, cost-effective products to drive competitive advantage. This role manages complex, SKU-intensive product categories and develops sourcing strategies that improve supplier performance, cost efficiency, and supply chain resiliency.As an individual contributor, this role partners closely with Product Development and Category Management teams to support new product launches, supplier selection, and long-term sourcing strategy. Candidates must be in or near Richmond, VA for consideration.What You’ll DoDevelop and execute strategic sourcing strategies aligned to cost, quality, and supply continuity goalsIdentify, evaluate, and onboard domestic and global suppliers, including contract manufacturersLead sourcing events (RFP/RFQ) in partnership with Product Development and Analytics teamsNegotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers to optimize valueManage supplier relationships and hold vendors accountable for performance, quality, and service levelsServe as the primary point of contact for supplier communication, including escalation and issue resolutionLead joint business planning and ongoing strategic supplier discussionsDrive supplier diversification strategies, including geographic and country-of-origin considerations to improve supply chain resiliencePartner cross-functionally to resolve quality, cost, or supply issues and ensure high service levelsProactively identify new supplier opportunities and monitor market trends, cost drivers, and supplier capabilitiesSupport category strategy by analyzing competitive landscape and informing sourcing decisionsBasic RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceTypically requires 4+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or supply chainExperience managing supplier/vendor relationships and supporting sourcing initiativesExperience participating in or leading RFP/RFQ processes and contract negotiationsDemonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product, category, or supply chain teamsPreferred Skills / ExperienceExperience sourcing finished goods or working with global contract manufacturersExperience managing SKU-intensive product categoriesKnowledge of category management and strategic sourcing frameworksExperience in healthcare, medical devices, consumer goods, or private label productsStrong negotiation, project management, and stakeholder influence skillsExperience analyzing supplier markets, cost drivers, and competitive dynamicsExperience navigating national brand and private label sourcing strategiesWork Environment / TravelHybrid role (Richmond, VA)Up to ~15% travel (domestic and occasional international)Ability to collaborate across global suppliers and time zonesMcKesson complies with all applicable U.S. immigration laws and regulations.
