Facility in Gettysburg, PA seeking Cardiology locums coverageRates: $450/hrOpportunity HighlightsStart Date: May 10, 2026.Contract Length: Ongoing (13-week initial blocks).Rotation Schedule: Week 1: Inpatient Call (Monday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM).Week 2: Outpatient Clinic (MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM).Support Staff: Medical Assistants in the office; integration with the heart and vascular network.EMR: EPIC (Required proficiency).Clinical Scope & VolumeThe cardiologist will manage a consistent mix of acute hospital consults and routine outpatient management.Hospital Week: Average census of 20 patients/consults.Responsibilities include: Hospital consults, TEEs, Echo reads, and Nuclear testing.Clinic Week: Average of 18 patients per day.Setting: WellSpan-owned private practice and Gettysburg Hospital (Academic/Training environment).Procedures: Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE), Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE), and Nuclear Stress Test interpretations.Provider RequirementsBoard Status: Board Eligible (BE) required (or BC) in Cardiovascular Disease.Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) Medical License in hand (Required).
