Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Unit Details:
Trauma telemetry unit.
Day RN patient ratio: 1:5/6. Night RN patient ratio: 1:6/7.
Prepares patients for Endoscopy, IR, and OR.
Uses Patient Observation (CPO), medical remote telemetry monitoring, VC150s in every patient room, a workstation on wheels for every staff member, and Tap and Go for computer/documentation access.

Shift & Scheduling:
Must sign up for 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday count as weekend shifts on night shift).

Floating Requirements:
Floats to Med-Surg sister units: 3W, 5W, and K8.
