This role ensures accuracy and compliance across all entities, maintaining financial integrity in alignment with GAAP, FAR, and DCAA requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and can manage complex intercompany transactions, cost allocations, and reporting needs across multiple business units.You will excel in this role if you are:A person who enjoys working as a member in a small teamSelf-motivated and independent with a desire to build new skills as use their knowledge to further grow with the companySkilled in accounting system implementation, audits, and content managementOrganized and able to communicate with internal and external partiesExperienced with accounting standards and complex intercompany transactionsA Day in the Life:Completing and reviewing full-charge bookkeeping and accounting functions across LLCs and related entitiesReconcile intercompany transactions and ensure accurate consolidation of financialsPrepare and post journal entries, accruals, and month-end adjustments across multiple entitiesPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsManage indirect cost rate development (fringe, overhead, G&A) and ensure compliance with FAR and CASProcess accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and billing for various federal/commercial contracts, across multiple entitiesGenerate and review invoices in compliance with contract termsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis for each entityCollaborate with managers to ensure accurate job costing and labor allocationAssisting in payroll activities as neededWhat we are expecting from you:A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business, Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience is requiredA minimum of eight (8) years of related professional experience is requiredA working knowledge of systems including Unanet and PaycomProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and ability to learn additional company selected software with ability to adapt to changing softwareWorking knowledge of GAAP, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)Experience with multi-entity accounting & financialsNice to have:Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or in progress certificationMicrosoft Office Specialist certification in ExcelClearEdge is an established small business that values its employees and is committed to providing an environment where individuals can succeed and grow.
