Company Description Emerge Healing Center is a structured outpatient program that provides a safe, supportive environment for individuals seeking recovery from alcoholism, drug addiction, PTSD, and other primary mental health disorders. The center emphasizes personalized paths to healing, recognizing that each person's journey is unique. Multidisciplinary services are designed to address both substance use and mental health needs in an integrated way. Team members collaborate closely to offer trauma-informed, evidence-based care while fostering hope and long-term wellness for clients. Role Description The Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Alpharetta, GA, responsible for delivering direct clinical services to clients in outpatient treatment. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions; completing biopsychosocial assessments; and developing person-centered treatment plans that address addiction, PTSD, and co-occurring mental health conditions. The Therapist will maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, coordinate care with other members of the treatment team, and participate in case consultations and staff meetings. The role also involves providing psychoeducation, crisis support, and referrals to community resources as needed, while upholding ethical standards and contributing to a safe, inclusive, and recovery-focused environment. Qualifications Licensed or license-eligible mental health professional (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist) in the state of Georgia. Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field. Demonstrated experience providing therapy for substance use disorders, PTSD, and other primary mental health conditions in outpatient or similar settings. Proficiency in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, motivational interviewing, or trauma-informed approaches. Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation skills using electronic health records. Ability to build therapeutic rapport with diverse clients, practice cultural humility, and maintain clear professional boundaries. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary team and coordinating care. Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards. Experience facilitating group therapy and psychoeducational groups is highly beneficial.
