As a Quality Inspector at Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing, your day revolves around precision, vigilance, and accountability in the fast-paced aerospace electronics sector. You kick off your workday by reviewing production schedules and quality standards, setting the stage for excellence. Armed with specialized tools and testing equipment, you meticulously examine cable harnesses, circuit boards, and electronic assemblies, ensuring each component adheres to stringent aerospace specifications.

Your keen eye for detail checks for dimensional accuracy, solder integrity, and electrical performance. Throughout your day, you'll document findings and flag nonconformities, collaborating closely with engineering and production teams to address any issues. Your efforts are crucial in guaranteeing that every product meets rigorous standards for flight-critical systems, ultimately safeguarding the reliability and safety of aerospace missions.

To thrive as a Quality Inspector at Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing, you will need a robust set of skills that align with our commitment to excellence in aerospace electronics. A foundational understanding of the Circuit Card manufacturing process is essential, coupled with critical thinking and decision-making capabilities that allow for effective problem-solving. Proficiency in participating in Lot Rejection resolution and facilitating root cause/corrective action activities is key, as is the ability to engage in continuous improvement through lean activities and process enhancement recommendations. You will also be responsible for collecting and entering data to support program initiatives and quality inspection needs, necessitating a high level of independence and self-assurance.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Participate in Lot Rejection resolution
• Participate in training as needed
• Provide continuous improvements through lean activities and process improvement activities and recommendations
• Participate and/or facilitate root cause/corrective action activities.
•  This position requires developing an overall awareness and general knowledge and understanding of the Circuit Card
• manufacturing process.
• This position requires a certain level of independence and self assurance as well as critical thinking for decision
• making.
• Collect and enter data as required to support program initiatives and quality inspection needs.
•  This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
