Assistant Project Manager

RIVERSIDE BUILDERS OVERVIEW: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Assistant to support our Service Manager in overseeing high-end residential concierge service, maintenance, and small-scale construction projects. This role blends office coordination with on-site involvement and is ideal for someone who understands the expectations and standards of luxury residential work. You will play a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly by assisting with documentation, tracking progress, and helping coordinate multiple field crews. This is a growth-oriented position for someone eager to deepen their experience in construction operations and project management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support the Service Manager with daily operations, both in-office and in the field - Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, logs, and reports - Assist with scheduling, tracking, and coordination of multiple field crews - Monitor project progress and help ensure timelines and quality standards are met - Prepare and distribute clear, professional project updates and client communications - Utilize project management tools to track workflows, budgets, and deliverables - Conduct site visits to document progress, verify work, and support field teams - Help ensure all work aligns with high-end residential standards and client expectations Qualifications - Experience in high-end residential construction - Strong attention to detail and commitment to thorough, organized work - Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously PROFICIENCY IN: - Procore - Microsoft Excel - Microsoft Project - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear, professional emails and reports - Comfortable working both in an office environment and on active construction sites - Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, quality-driven construction environment WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: - A proactive, dependable team player who takes initiative - Someone who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment - A problem-solver who can anticipate needs and support both field and management teams - Someone who understands the level of detail and care required in high-end residential work Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Salary: $50,000 - $100,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: Yes
