Principal Analyst - Senior Pricer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform competitive cost analysis and price to win estimates for strategic and highly visible proposal efforts.
- Potential opportunity to manage and supervise staff including mentoring, training, and overseeing the professional development of staff. Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Accounting or Financial Management or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience. - 10+ years of Price to Win (preferred) experience, Pricing, or financial proposal experience in State and Local Health and Human Services competitive procurements. - Solid understanding of the State and Local government competitive pricing market and procurement tendencies. - Strong communication and inter-personal skills and ability work to with and present recommendations to senior and executive management. - Knowledge and understanding of statistical methods for forecasting and projecting competitive behavior. -Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, or other related software programs. Job-Specific Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Economics or related field of study. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree. - At least 10 years of related Federal Pricing experience in the development and submittal of complex spreadsheets and cost proposals to Federal customers for products and services. - At least 2-5 years of Federal DOD Pricing experience in the development and submittal of complex spreadsheets and cost proposals for DOD customers. - Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices of cost estimating. - Knowledge of the relevant corporate and government regulations and standards regarding Federal procurement. - Strong organizational, verbal, written, analytical, problem solving, teamwork and communication skills required. - Demonstrates willingness to build experience and knowledge of pricing, including reading and reviewing RFPs. - Must possess strong proficiency with MS Excel, Power Point, and Word. - Ability to do hands on analysis at micro-level while presenting findings at high-level. - Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with and present to executive management. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment delivering results and quality services. - Demonstrated experience to execute multiple tasks simultaneously working in a team or independently. #techjobs #LI-PN1 EEO Statement

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
