In this rewarding role, you'll work alongside professional drivers to ensure passengers travel safely, comfortably, and with dignity. Why You'll Love Working at Vivalon Starting pay of $22.25 per hour Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week Monday-Friday schedule Paid training provided Team-oriented and supportive work environment Meaningful work that impacts lives every day Opportunities to grow with a respected nonprofit organization What You'll Do As a Special Needs Attendant, you'll help create a safe, positive, and respectful transportation experience for our passengers by: Supervising and assisting clients during transit Supporting drivers with the safe loading and unloading of passengers Properly using wheelchair securements, safety restraints, and seat belts Providing compassionate support to individuals with disabilities Communicating passenger needs and concerns to drivers and management Maintaining professional, respectful, and positive interactions with clients, coworkers, and community members Following all health, safety, and transportation procedures What We're Looking For We're looking for individuals who are patient, caring, and committed to delivering exceptional service. Requirements: Qualifications Friendly, reliable, and committed to excellent customer service Genuine desire to help others and support individuals with disabilities Valid California Driver's License or California ID Card Must be at least 21 years of age Ability to attend a 5-day paid training program in San Rafael, CA (commute stipend provided) Two professional references Ability to pass a background check for this safety-sensitive position Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and comply with federally required random testing Benefits & Perks At Vivalon, we invest in our employees' well-being and success.
