UW / Actuarial Lead

Responsibilities Bridge the gap between deep actuarial technicalities and hands‑on underwriting leadership to drive long‑term profitability and sound decision‑making. Actuarial & Analytics Lead: reserve calculations and pricing for auto products; challenge loss provisions; manage IFRS 17 reporting; automate data structures and validate integrity; provide actuarial inputs for income recognition. Underwriting: develop and implement underwriting guidelines; collaborate with sales and accounting on product structure and acceptability criteria; ensure full regulatory compliance. Set strategic direction for risk management; mentor and train analysts; drive process improvements for efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications ACAS or near FCAS qualification. 5+ years of actuarial experience. Strong background in the P&C space and proficiency in Excel and SQL.
